Research Phase

Understanding your design style and lifestyle is a critical step in our design process that ensures we create a space you'll love. During this phase, we'll need the following information from you:

  • Your completed design questionnaire

  • Inspiration images, which you can share via email

Kickoff Meeting

During your kickoff meeting, which will officially start your project, we'll review the information you submitted in more detail. We'll also measure, take pictures, and talk through all the elements of your project. We ask that all key decision-makers attend this 90-minute in-home meeting.

Design Phase

While you won't hear from us much during this phase, we are hard at work pulling together all the elements to bring your design to life. We'll create floor plans and elevations, source materials, fixtures and furnishings, and select finishes to create your custom design. This phase is typically 8-10 weeks. 

Presentation Day

Once all the finishing touches on your design are complete, you'll enjoy an in home presentation where we'll review your complete design and all of the details, including elevations, design boards, renderings, fabric swatches, finish samples, tear sheets, and proposals.

We'll make adjustments as needed based on your feedback and our revisions policy is outlined in your proposal. Time is of the essence so we can keep the momentum of your project moving forward. 

As a reminder, we require that all key decision makers attend the presentation.

Once the design plan is approved and your proposals have been paid, we will begin purchasing, tracking, and double-checking that each item arrives correctly at our receiving warehouse. This phase can take anywhere from 12-20 weeks, or longer, depending on lead times from our vendors, and you'll receive updates on the status of your project in your bi-weekly Monday update emails. 

Project Management

We will collaborate with your contractor or our trades throughout construction to ensure every detail is executed perfectly. This may include a trade day, scheduled site visits, and House Envy Interiors Inc. acting as the liaison between you and your contractor.

The final phase is where the magic happens - your installation! We'll coordinate the delivery of any items ordered through House Envy Interiors Inc. and be on-site on your install day to ensure everything is in its place. We'll bring accessories selected specifically for you to add the finishing touches to tie it all together, leaving you with a complete space ready to enjoy. 

In the event we are photographing your space, we'll notify you in advance and take care of all the details.

Wrap Up

If we identify any issues during your installation, we'll work with our vendors and your contractor, if applicable, to resolve them quickly.
